COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

STAY SAFE, STAY HEALTHY, STAY HOME.

TO ABIDE WITH THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA'S NOTICE PUBLISHED ON APRIL 4, 2020 WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED THE FOLLOWING PROTOCOLS FOR OUR COMPANY AND WE REMAIN IN COMPLIANCE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMENDED ESSENTIAL WORKPLACES LIST. THE FOLLOWING WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

  1. Construction projects and services associated with the healthcare sector, including new facilities, expansions, renovations and conversion of spaces that could be repurposed for health care space.

  2. Construction projects and services required to ensure safe and reliable operations of, or to provide new capacity in, critical provincial infrastructure, including transit, transportation, energy and justice sectors beyond the day-to-day maintenance.

  3. Critical industrial construction activities required for,

    1. the maintenance and operations of petrochemical plants and refineries,

    2. significant industrial petrochemical projects where preliminary work has already commenced,

    3. industrial construction and modifications to existing industrial structures limited solely to work necessary for the production, maintenance, and/or enhancement of Personal Protective Equipment, medical devices (such as ventilators), and other identified products directly related to combatting the COVID-19 pandemic.

    1. Construction projects that are due to be completed before October 4, 2020 and that would provide additional capacity in the production, processing, manufacturing or distribution of food, beverages or agricultural products.

  1. Residential construction projects where,

    1. a footing permit has been granted for single family, semi-detached and townhomes

    2. an above grade structural permit has been granted for condominiums, mixed use and other buildings, or

    3. the project involves renovations to residential properties and construction work was started before April 4, 2020.

  2. Construction and maintenance activities necessary to temporarily close construction sites that have paused or are not active and to ensure ongoing public safety.

PROTOCOLS FOR OUR STAFF

  • Please abide by all protocols as listed.

  • Reduced staff on site to provide for a safer workplace. Maximum 2 staff members per site at this time to maintain safe practices. 

  • No discrimination against any staff member who is not comfortable working at this time for any reason.

  • All staff must report to their direct position when arriving on site and not leave site after arriving.

  • All staff must wash hands for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap and water or use alcohol based hand sanitizer minimum of five times per day while on site. 1: Arriving on site 8:00am , 2: First break 10:30am, 3: Lunch break 12:30pm, 4: Last break 3:30pm, 5: End of shift 5:30pm.

  • Each member is assigned a personal machine and / or vehicle, as well as a set of tools to accomplish tasks. At no time shall any equipment be used by another team member. 

  • All staff must remain a minimum of 6 feet or 2 metres from any other team members, homeowners or other personnel on site, in office or in yard.

  • Bills of landing, packing slips or any other paperwork should not be physically exchanged. 

  • The company will ensure there is sufficient sanitary, cleaning and health & safety products available at all times.

  • If for any reason any staff member is feeling unwell, please stay home and report symptoms via phone or text to immediate supervisor. 

  • At no time should any staff member enter a customers home for any reason unless it is an urgent medical emergency that requires 911 services.
